Behavioral Health and Substance Use Disorders

Providers and patients can face barriers to behavioral health care, including limited access to services, lack of awareness about community resources and stigma surrounding mental health and substance use disorders.
Mountain Pacific helps connect providers and patients with community resources, support services and practical solutions that improve access to care and strengthen coordination with primary care.

Our initiatives include:

Treating Substance Use Disorders (SUDs) - Supporting screening and treatment for opioid use disorder and prescription opioid misuse, including integration with primary care services.

Improving Care - Helping nursing homes provide evidence-based care for residents with dementia, including alternatives to unnecessary antipsychotic medications.

Improving Access - Connecting people experiencing depression, suicide risk and other mental health concerns with appropriate services and support.

Addressing Stigma - Helping reduce stigma for people seeking, providing or receiving mental health and recovery support, including those living or working in recovery.
